Text: Three line inscription. The inscription is located in the wall of the north facade of the church, on an entire area of a rectangular grey color plaque. It is encircled by an embossed frame. It seems that the plaque was replaced during the restoration of the church w 40 x h 59 cm

Commentary
According to the Corpus of Georgian Inscriptions by Nodar Shoshiashvili the inscription #1. The inscription does not contain any mark of separation or abbreviation. No spaces between the words. According to Nodar Shoshiashvili the dating of the inscription is based on the paleographic data: Ⴁ, Ⴣ, Ⴑ, Ⴗ, Ⴘ, Ⴜ graphemes have full circled rings, Ⴁ and Ⴜ have the top arches engaged for both upper and lower arch. The grapheme Ⴑ is also fully engaged. P. Zakaraia dates the inscription to the turn of the VI century. V. Silogava considers that the inscription is from the X century.
