წარწერა ერთსტრიქონიანია. იგი მდებარეობს ბოლნისის სიონის ინტერიერში, ჩრდილოეთის ნავში, აფსიდიდან მესამე სვეტზე, სადაც რელიეფით გამოსახულია ლამაზ მცენარეულ ჩარჩოში, მედალიონში ჩასმული „ბოლნური ჯვარი“. წარწერა გამოქანდაკებულია ჯვრის ზემოთ დადაბლებულ სიბრტყეზე. · One line inscription. In the north nave of Bolnisi Cathedral on the third pillar from the apse there is the ornament of “Bolnisi Cross” embedded in the medallion circled by a frame with the beautiful decoration of a plant. The inscription is embossed above this cross.

ბოლნისის ტაძარი მდებარეობს ისტორიულ ქვემო ქართლში, 9 კმ. მანძილზე ქ. ბოლნისიდან სამხრეთით, 1 კმ. მანძილზე სოფ. ბონის-ხაჩინიდან. ეს წარწერა 1937 წელს აღმოაჩინა კულტურულ ძეგლთა დაცვის კომიტეტის მიერ მოწყობილმა არქეოლოგიურმა ექსპედიციამ, რომელსაც ლევან მუსხელიშვილი ხელმძღვანელობდა. · Bolnisi Sioni Cathedral is located in Kvemo Kartli, 9 km away from city Bolnisi to the south, 1 km distance from the village Bonis-Khachini. The inscription was discovered during the archaeological expedition held by the Cultural Heritage Preservation Committee supervised by Levan Muskhelishvili in 1937.

This Cross of Vardan Nakhpet

ნოდარ შოშიაშვილის ქართული წარწერების კორპუსის მიხედვით #7. წარწერას განკვეთილობის ნიშნები არ ახლავს. სიტყვები ერთმანეთისაგან არ არის დაცილებული. ქარაგმის ნიშნად ნახმარია გრძელი, სწორი, განივი ხაზი. ლევან მუსხელიშვილი ვარდან ნახპეტს „ვარსქენად“ კითხულობს.

According to the Corpus of Georgian inscriptions by Nodar Shoshiashvili, the inscription N7 does not have spaces. No spaces between the words. and the sign for abbreviation is a long straight horizontal line. Levan Muskhelishvili identifies the name Vardan Nakhpet as “Varsken”.
