The Greek capital letter inscription is engraved in a reversed way around the ornament of a goddess on the surface of the signet ring. It is possible to date the inscription according to the shape of the latters (square shape E, A with straight crossbar, only a fragment of Σ, fitting small o inside the letters of bigger shape).

Date: IV-III BC (lettering)

Findspot: ვანი The item was found in the grave of a noble soldier, the ring should have been forged in the local smithery.
